I believe in one God, the Father almighty, Creator of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his Word, our Lord, by Whom all things were made, both seen and unseen. Who for us men and for our salvation, came down and was made man, the Son of God;
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scripture and ascended into heaven. From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life. He has spoken through the Prophets.
I believe entrance into the Body of Christ, the Church, follows a path through the waters of baptism.
I believe the Bible to be inspired in its original writings and that the truth declared in those writings have been faithfully preserved. I approach religious traditions with respectful skepticism.
I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
